What is Going On?

The Broncos lose another heartbreaker this week to the Titans 17-10. However, that is not my main concern here. The topic I want to focus on is his injuries. Every year the Broncos get plagued by injuries and it cannot be a coincidence anymore. Of course, injuries are a part of the game but my goodness has things gotten out of hand for the Broncos in 2022? The Broncos have lost Tim Patrick, Ronald Darby, Garrett Bolles, Lloyd Cushenberry, and Graham Glasgow to season-ending injuries. A player such as KJ Hamler and Justin Simmons has been in and out of the lineup all year and who knows how long Jerry Jeudy will be out. We can blame Hackett and Russ Wilson all we want but the finger needs to be pointed at Loren Landow, the strength and conditioning coach. Of course, not all of the injuries should be blamed on him as freak accidents do happen. But every year the Broncos seem to be devastated by injury after injury. It has been the same story since 2019. A good roster with a major injury turnout. The Broncos must take a deeper look into what is taking place during strength and conditioning. To make matters worse, Denver is now 3-6 and is now in a position where they have to win out or win 7 of the last 8. The offense has hit another level of rock bottom. They were not good as it is and now that they have a plethora of 2nd and 3rd stringers on the offensive line is the death nail. There is no way an offense can function with a respectably functioning O-line. Russ was sacked 6 times and if not for his mobility it could have been double digits. It has been a very underwhelming season once again. Since 2017, by thanksgiving time, it has always been about how good Denver could be next year, and every year it is the same old story.
