Super Bowl 56!

It all comes down to this. The Bengals take on the Rams in LA for the season finale. Can Joe Burrow pull off the improbable and bring Cincinnati their first Lombardi to franchise history, or will players such as Matthew Stafford , Aaron Donald and OBJ to solidify their legacies. Here's how each team can do it based on what I've seen from each squad in the postseason. Let's kick it off with the Bengals:

Bengals:

It has not been an easy postseason run for the Bengals by any means. They won their first game by 7, second game by 3, and their most recent one in Arrowhead by 3 points. Led by their franchise guy in Joe Burrow they have defied all odds and made it to the big stage after not winning a playoff game in nearly 30 years. In these playoffs Burrow has thrown for 842 yards and 4TDs with only 1 interception. He has looked unfazed in his first outing in the big games. Jamar Chase, their rookie star wideout has also been exceptional logging 279 yards and a TD in 3 games in the postseason. However, in addition to these 2 being great in the playoffs, the defense for the Bengals has played unbelievable forcing 7 total turnovers which is the most in the league. They flustered Mahomes in the second half holding him to 2 interceptions and a 1.1 passer rating. It has been impressive how well the Bengals have weathered the storm in each game especially in their last 2. Against the Titans it was about how composed Joe Burrow was all game even after getting sacked 9 times and being harassed in every way. Against KC, the defense displayed great resiliency after KC scored with ease in their first 3 possessions all scoring TDs. After going down 21-3 the Bengals allowed just 3 points the entire second half which led to them being AFC champions. Their biggest key tomorrow is to weather the storm as they Rams may come out firing on all cylinders but if that happens they just have to stay calm and keep on fighting like they have all season.

Rams:

They are on the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to expectations on winning this game. The Bengals are nearly playing with house money as most of America expects the Rams with all their superstars to win with ease. This game can help define legacies for players such as Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald and OBJ as a ring is really the only thing they have left to accomplish in their career. Now onto the field. The Rams clearly have the better team when it comes to personnel. Where they have the biggest advantage is between the trenches on the defensive end. The leaky Bengals defensive line has given up nearly 17-18 sacks and should be the perfect opportunity for Miller, Donald, and Floyd to make their case from MVP. They key for the Rams is to limit the turnovers as Stafford has done a very good job of that in the playoffs till this point. The last thing they can allow for an underdog is to give them confidence early in the game and end up in a dog fight. You have to run them out the gym and let them know they don't belong in the same stage as you.

Prediction:

I do the Rams get it done 30-27 on a walk off field goal just like every other game this postseason. I believe the Rams will get off to a hot start that will be weathered by the Bengals nicely as they will go back and forth in the 4th but in the end experience matters and the Rams have more of it.
