Same Story 10 Years Later!

The 2022 Broncos share many similarities to the 2012 Broncos. Both teams showed promise the year before but were clearly handicapped with poor QB play at certain parts of the season. The 2011 team had a plethora of young talent with DT, Eric Decker, Knowshon Moreno and a very good defense. The 2021 squad, similarly, has a lot of talent consisting of Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Patrick, Albert O, Tim Patrick, KJ Hamler and their dynamic duo at running back with Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon. When the Broncos added a top tier QB in Manning, their offense really took off averaging 30.1 points per game that season. The Broncos 10 years later added a top tier QB in Russell Wilson and we should expect similar or even better results because I do think Russ joined a more talented squad than Peyton did back in 2012. I will say it wasn't always smooth sailing because the Broncos did start off 2-3 in 2012 as it took a little bit for Peyton to get acclimated to his new offense but once he figured it out, it was lights out as the Broncos won 11-straight to end the season 14-3. I expect the Broncos to average around 30-33 ppg in this upcoming season and also deal with some early season adversity which is why I predict they will go 2-2 the first month of the season but I expect a win streak of 6 or 7 following the early season hiccups. Season is less than 2 months away and I cannot wait. Go Broncos!
