A little Redemption

The Broncos have a great chance to get themselves in the postseason with a win on Saturday night considering the schedule for the rest of the season. Denver will have more than a 60% chance to make the playoffs with a win. last time that was the case they were getting ready to take on Houston. We all know how that ended as the Broncos made a lot of mistakes in that game ultimately costing themselves a sure chance of making the playoffs. This weekend they kind of get a second shot at solidifying themselves as a contender for that wild card spot. With the Lions stumbling the last couple of weeks, there is no reason to believe that Denver can't pull off the upset. The key for this game will be to get out to an early lead, get the crowd out of it, and make Detroit one-dimensional. if they can make Goff drop back and throw it 35+ times, they have a shot to win. The Lions are most dangerous when their running back duo of Gibbs and Montgomery are gashing defenses for 6 yards a carry. With Denver's defense being a little suspect against the run, it is paramount they take that part of their offense out of the game and allow their fantastic pass rush, which has come alive the last 2 weeks recording 11 sacks, to get after Goff where he has shown to struggle against this year and is a catalyst for why he has turned the ball over at such an alarming rate after he was so good with taking care of the football earlier in the season.
